Review: SIGMA 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 DG HSM II by Absolute Gizmos

Well, Sigma is a  Japanese based family owned manufacturer of DSLR cameras, camera lenses and camera accessories. Founded in 1961, a wonderful company making lens for mount of Nikon and cannon. We were excited to review one, never used lens other than Nikkor. So this review is completely from a person who had used kit lens and prime lens. read ahead and watch pictures shot with this lens.

Build Quality of the Sigma 12-24mm lens

When you spend so much money and you get a wonderful build which is simply awesome thing, the feel of lens on the hand. The lens is huge as compared  to other lens. Its adds bulk to camera, that bulk makes you feel pro. You can’t hold the camera with one hand as what you could do in the prime lens, you will need to keep one hand on body and another hand on the lens, feels like holding a telephoto lens.

While Shooting with Sigma 12-24mm lens

We tested the lens on Nikon D5100, The lens is being Heavy due to fish eye aperture and good build that actual adds advantage of shooting great pictures as it stabilize our hands while shooting without tripod.

This lens is dedicated for landscape or wallpaper photographer. Even those who shoot scenario shoots for movies this lens is dedicated for that and worth the money to buy. We were really impressed with the shots we captured and we give it a pick.
